Position Details:
? Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
? 2025-2026 school year
? Caseload: 20-30 students, PreK-12
? Session durations: 30-75 minutes
? Visually Impaired K-12 credential required
? Starting at $40/hour

Responsibilities: ? Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students using adaptive teaching methods in a virtual environment. ? Provide instruction in orientation and mobility and other adaptive skills via online platforms. ? Collaborate with parents, educators, and a multidisciplinary team to meet each student?s unique visual needs. ? Stay current with assistive technologies and integrate them into remote lessons. ? Create an inclusive, supportive online learning environment for visually impaired students.

Qualifications: ? Experience teaching visually impaired students ? Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate and required educator clearances ? In-depth knowledge of visual impairments and their impact on learning ? Proficiency with Zoom and other online tools ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
