We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior National Accounts Manager to join our newly created National Accounts team to lead and manage the sales relationship with Barnes & Noble and Indigo. The successful candidate will play a critical role in pitching new titles, driving revenue, managing account relationships, and executing strategies to maximize sales across Barnes & Noble?s... and Indigo?s national retail and online platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of the book retail landscape, strong sales acumen, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external teams.

Responsibilities
? Serve as the primary point of contact for Barnes & Noble and Indigo, developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and market share
? Present the Adult, Children?s and Special Interest lists seasonally along with trade focused Academic titles
? Work closely with internal teams such as publicity, marketing, editorial, and operations to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and to support Barnes & Noble?s evolving needs
? Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Barnes & Noble and Indigo, ensuring alignment on sales objectives, promotional plans, and long-term business strategies
? Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and growth opportunities
? Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive informed decision-making
? Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
