Job Description:

Essential Functions:
? Serving and cleaning up meals and snacks.
? Group management of children ages 18 months - 12 years.
? Assisting children in bathroom (including changing diapers) .
? Communicating with co-workers, children and children's families.
? Maintaining Accurate Records of attendance and count of all children in the classroom.
? Cleaning and sanitizing toys, furniture, and equipment.
? Implementing daily activity plans Lifting of children up to 60 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Direct care of children ages 18 months - 12 years of age.
? Basic knowledge of child development is essential.
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills; record keeping; serving/cleaning up meals; general housekeeping skills; changing diapers/assisting children in the bathroom.
? Capability to make quick decisions; ability to manage a large group of children.
? Must be punctual.
? Initiative, Flexibility, Energy, and an eagerness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications: ? High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). ? Experience working with children ranging in age from 18 months-12 years old in a group care setting.
