Job Description of FedEx Local Courier Delivery Driver:
Your position as a FedEx Local Courier Delivery Driver involves distributing packages to customers along a set path. You are required to ensure that the items are delivered in a timely, secure, and in an excellent state, all of which will help maintain FedEx's reputation as a dependable delivery service.
Responsibilities of FedEx Local Courier Delivery Driver:
? Prompt and secure package delivery is paramount to customer happiness.
? Transfer and deposit parcels from the transport truck.
? Maintain a consistent route and schedule as preplanned.
? Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation is a necessary task for businesses.
? Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with dispatchers and customers, demonstrating empathy and active engagement.
? Maintain safety practices and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment.
? Stay vigilant in monitoring vehicle performance and conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent unexpected breakdowns or accidents.
Qualification of FedEx Local Courier Delivery Driver:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
? Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
? Strong time management and organizational skills.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
